– A Georgia Vols fan club celebrated their team’s first win in the program’s history Saturday night with a victory over Tennessee.

After trailing 27-14 at halftime, the Vols took a 21-3 lead into the fourth quarter.

The Volunteers responded by scoring the first 10 points of the game, but Georgia rallied back to win on a 6-0 run.

The Vols (3-2, 1-0 SEC) also scored a touchdown on their next possession.

The win was Georgia’s third in a row against the Vol-led Tennessee Volunteers.

They also beat LSU 23-10 on Saturday.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart said his team didn’t want to get too comfortable against the Volunteers, but he still had a lot of positives after a slow start to the season.

“We just have to continue to work at it, keep grinding and get better every week,” Smart said.

“We know what we have to do to win, so we’ll continue to do that.”

The Volts, who are 3-1 since the start of the 2015 season, now have six victories against the Bulldogs since the beginning of October.
