Florida has announced it will be without quarterback Brandon Bairs ability to play Saturday’s home game against the Bulldogs after he suffered a sprained right ankle in practice.
Bairs status will be determined after further testing on Friday.
Bairs injury came in the third quarter of Saturday’s 41-35 win over the Miami Hurricanes.
Bair, a senior from Miami, was sacked three times and was sacked four times in the contest.
He was unable to return to the game, but will be re-evaluated on Friday when he’s able to return.
Bair suffered the injury in the first half of the game.
He exited the game shortly after that after he fell to the ground in pain.
He suffered an ankle sprain and will be evaluated again Friday.
The Gators are 2-0 under coach Kevin Sumlin and 3-0 overall.
