This is Chris Dinson of the Texas Tech football coaching staff.
He was a graduate assistant and defensive backs recruiting coordinator at Alabama and Tennessee.
He’s currently the defensive backs head coach at Virginia Tech.
He spent two years with the Tigers before taking over the defense in 2014.
In that year, Tech had just one sack allowed in 15 games and allowed a touchdown in four games.
Dickson’s defense ranked No. 1 nationally in both sacks allowed and points allowed.
He also led Virginia Tech in interceptions.
Dickson is the son of former Texas Tech head coach Chris Jones.
He also spent three years as an assistant coach at Arkansas, helping the Razorbacks to a bowl game in 2013 and winning the Cotton Bowl in 2014, according to the Arkansas Times.
He spent two seasons as the defensive coordinator at Georgia Tech.
His first year as the Bulldogs’ head coach, he led the Yellow Jackets to the 2016 SEC Championship Game.
Georgia Tech was ranked No.”s third-ranked defense in 2016 and ranked No”s top-ranked offense in 2017.
The team finished the season ranked No’s No.1 defense in scoring defense, No.2 in yards allowed and No. 3 in total defense.
Dantonio’s team had an outstanding season, ranking No. 2 in scoring offense and No.”‘s No. 4 offense.
