A South Carolina football coach has fired back at a booster who has been accused of making false allegations that a coach sexually assaulted a teammate.

“I would like to state for the record that the allegations made by the accuser against me were completely false,” South Carolina Coach Matt Campbell said Tuesday.

“I have absolutely zero tolerance for any form of sexual assault and have stood up for all of my teammates.

The accusations against me are completely false and I have stood by them.”

Campbell was accused of sexually assaulting a teammate in a hotel room in 2012.

A year later, Campbell was accused by the woman of repeatedly touching her genitals, according to the AP.

He later said the allegation was false.

In a statement issued through a spokesman, South Carolina athletic director Jeff Long denied any sexual misconduct.

The school’s president, Mike Yurachek, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The accuser told the AP that she has since left the university, and Campbell has since resigned from his position.
